Cashews
Organic
Burkina Faso
Whole, natural organic cashews, completely cracked, peeled, sorted and exported directly by our subsidiary in Bobo-Dioulasso.
Use & preparation
- Cashews have a wide range of uses: You can enjoy them pure or roasted, or you can soak them and use them in sweet or savoury dishes for a creamy consistency.
- Cashews are also great for baking, such as these cookies.
Storage & shelf life
Store nuts and seeds in a cool, dark place in a tightly closed container. Make sure that the container is as airtight as possible so that moisture is kept away from the nuts. You can also freeze nuts and seeds, which will extend their shelf life by several months.

- Purchasing from cooperatives and family farmers straight from the farm since 2005
- Potential for improvement: Provide training for family farmers so that they view themselves as business owners, promote innovative farming practices and biodiversity, raise the lowest wages at gebana Burkina Faso

COULIBALY ANA WARIBA
FARMER FROM TAGA, BURKINA FASO
