Banana Chips
Organic
Togo
Salted crisps made from fried plantains. The fruit comes from some Togolese family farmers who also supply us with cocoa for our chocolate. They grow the plantains as part of dynamic agroforestry in the area surrounding the town of Kpalimé in the Plateaux region.
The bananas provide the families with an additional income when it is not cocoa season. They also use the leaves of the banana plants to ferment their cocoa and keep the soil around the cocoa trees moist.

Storage & shelf life
Once opened, store the chips in an airtight container. This will keep them crispy and preserve their flavour.
