Use & preparation
- Add the fillets to a salad
- Preserve as a Grapefruit Jam or use in place of the oranges in this Ginger and Citrus Shots recipe.
- Use it to make your own cleaner: All-Purpose Citrus Cleaner.
Storage & shelf life
Stored in a cool place, grapefruit will keep for about four weeks. If you store the fruit on the balcony or terrace, protect it from frost with a blanket or in a polystyrene box. Check the fruits for bruises and minor damage as soon as you receive them. Eat these ones first. If you find mould, remove the affected fruits.
