Fresh, purple passion fruit from 18 family farmers who grow it on an average of 1 hectare north of Bogota in the Cundinamarca region. They deliver the passion fruit to the export and packaging company Ocati, which has been a pioneer in the region for organic fruit since the late 1980s. The company's 350 employees benefit from a joint savings and emergency fund, as well as scholarships for their children. Ocati is also actively involved in protecting the rainforest and advocating for human rights in rural areas.
The fruits are shipped directly to Europe after harvesting. Upon arrival, they may need a few days to ripen further. Once ripe, you can enjoy the passion fruit on its own or use it in a variety of ways. It pairs wonderfully with muesli and is perfect for smoothies, salads, and desserts.
