House Blend Coffee
Mexico / Peru
Ground medium roast arabica beans. 70% of the coffee beans come from farming families in Mexico, and the other 30% is from Peru. The beans are roasted weekly so that you always get fresh quality. Medium-fine grind suitable for all coffee makers. Aroma: nutty, chocolatey. Flavour: fruity, marzipan, honey, low acidity.
Why is the coffee not organic?
Due to a delivery delay at the Maya Vinic cooperative in Mexico, we currently have too few organic coffee beans. Nevertheless, the beans for this batch come from members of Maya Vinic. They are undergoing organic conversion and are not yet allowed to offer their coffee under the organic label.
As it is more important for us to support these producers than to insist on the organic label, we are temporarily offering our house blends as conventional coffee. Of course, it was still produced according to organic standards.

Storage & shelf life
Store the coffee beans in an airtight container. A porcelain or ceramic container is ideal, but a plastic container will also work well. Store the container in a cool, dark and dry place. If possible, use up the beans within 2 to 6 weeks of receiving them. Only grind enough beans for the coffee you want to brew right away.
