Salted Cashews
Organic
Burkina Faso
Roasting and salt make these cashews particularly crispy and strengthen their natural, slightly sweet taste.
Storage & shelf life
Store nuts and seeds in a cool, dark place in a tightly closed container. Make sure that the container is as airtight as possible so that moisture is kept away from the nuts. You can also freeze nuts and seeds, which will extend their shelf life by several months.

YABILE JEANNE OUATTARA
FARMER FROM TOUSSIANA, BURKINA FASO
I grow cashews for myself as well as for my buyers.
Yabile Jeanne Ouattara grows cashews on four hectares of land. When the harvest season begins, she can count on the help of her family - her husband and four children. She also hires extra harvest workers for the season. "Farming is my passion," says Jeanne. "I could never do any other job than farming. I love tending the fields." But she also thinks there's room for improvement. "I'd like to optimise my cashew trees so that we can harvest more."
