This extra virgin olive oil has an impressively ripe, fruity flavour and a strong pungency that is typical of olive oil from Palestine. For every litre of oil sold, an additional 1,80 euros goes to local agricultural, medical and social projects.
Storage & shelf life
Store the canister in a cool place. Once opened, you should use the olive oil within 9 months. For daily use, transfer a small amount to an oil carafe or glass bottle and keep it in a dark place. This is because light damages the structure of the oil and affects the taste and properties of the ingredients. Use a funnel when transferring the oil.

We rely on olive trees.
"I have a large family. There are 15 of us, including my grandchildren. Farming is hard work for us and I'm getting older," says Hatem Al Zaben. The olive farmer is already in his 70s. "But I love the soil here and that we can eat what we grow ourselves." Hatem Al Zaben owns 5 hectares of land around his home on which he cultivates 30 different types of vegetables and fruits, and another 7 hectares for his olive trees, his most important asset. "The biggest challenges we face are wild boars, a lack of infrastructure and land reclamation."
