Pecans
Organic
Peru
Pecans look very and taste similar to walnuts, but are milder and almost sweet. These pecans are sourced from Topará, a family-run business near the town of Chincha on the west coast of Peru. The business employs 40 people. These employees are joined by around 50 seasonal workers during the harvest season.
Storage & shelf life
Store nuts and seeds in a cool, dark place in a tightly closed container. Make sure that the container is as airtight as possible so that moisture is kept away from the nuts. You can also freeze nuts and seeds, which will extend their shelf life by several months.
