A box of fresh passion fruit from Colombia. The purple fruits are grown in the Cundinamarca region north of Bogota by smallholder farmers. We are importing them for the first time and are looking forward to your feedback.
Storage & shelf life
The passion fruit ripens at room temperature. You can tell that passion fruit is ripe by its wrinkled skin and slightly sweet smell. As soon as the fruit is ripe, you can store it in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. Alternatively, you can also freeze the pulp and store it for several months, for example in convenient portions in an ice cube tray.
